This weekend marks the opening day of Oklahoma quail season. That can only mean one thing… the end of the TBDA gun dog trials for the season! This Saturday we finished our trial season on a unseasonably warm day with out last trial. With the grass still green and the wind high, scenting conditions were less than ideal and it showed in the scores. In the gun dog field, Keith Lindsay and Sonja, GSP female, placed first, followed by Ben Faulkner with Shoni, Brittany female, and in third, Larry Moore with Hoss, Pointer male. Over in the puppy field, Mick Gill ruled the day with Sophie, Brittany female, in first place and Emma, Brittany female in second place. Brian and Hayden Spriggs took third with Daisy, GSP female.
