Tom Krause and his dog Dapper Dan put together a very good year and if it weren’t for a couple of off trials late would have run away with it but although that made it exciting, down to the last brace, they pulled it out and Dapper Dan is the Tulsa Bird Dog Associations Dog of the Year. Congratulations!
Carl Downs and Sassy did run away with it in the puppy field by taking first in every trial but two for the year. Impressive and they will be a team to watch in the open field next year.
James Parnell also ran away with the Handler of the Year category. With his two dogs in the open field always in the running and his pup doing the same there, the points they accumulated made it no contest. Obviously they put in the work and it’s an award well earned.
